Description
The Apple Bank Building, a pre-war condominium built in the Italian Renaissance Palazzo style, is located on 2112 Broadway and was originally built for the Central Savings Bank. It currently the home of Apple Bank, which explains the building's name. The top four floors of the Apple Bank Building have been converted into condominiums. The Apple Bank, on Manhattan's Upper West Side, still operates at the Apple Bank Building, so owners are provided with a separate entrance into a stunning, palatial lobby on their way to their luxe apartments.
When the Apple Bank Building was converted to condominiums, there was a large focus on luxury and contrast. The Apple Bank Building is an old pre-war condominium building but it is filled with modern luxuries. Condos at the Apple Bank Building are lined with Indonesian wood flooring. High-end appliances from Sub-Zero, Viking, and Bosch are to be found in the kitchen along with granite countertops. The contrast seen in the bathroom comes from white marble flooring and dark wood vanities.
It seems as if it would be impossible to beat the amenities package offered at the Apple Bank Building. There are the standard 24-hour doorman and 24-hour concierge. Also, the Apple Bank Building has a pet grooming center. This is not what makes the Apple Bank Building's amenities package unique. Located in a former bank vault, the gym has a 21-foot high ceilings, state-of-the art equipment, and a chandelier. Yes, you read that correctly, there is a chandelier in the gym. In an attempt to offer a feeling of suburban safety, mail is delivered right outside of residents' doors to their own personal mailboxes, something that is likely not offered anywhere else in Manhattan. The final, and most impressive amenity at the Apple Bank Building is certainly not to be found anywhere else in Manhattan: The Baseball Center NYC operates a 15,000 square foot, indoor baseball and softball facility in the building. With one of the most impressive amenities packages that can be found in New York as well as some of Manhattan's most luxurious apartments, the Apple Bank Building has found a way to be truly unique.
